Colin is a Partner in Aon’s Investment Practice, joining the company in 2002 as a graduate. He is the lead consultant to several private sector and public sector defined benefit pension schemes ranging in size from £100m to £1.5bn.

As a Lead Consultant, Colin spends most of his time working with clients advising them on all aspects of their investment arrangements. This will include setting high level risk and return objectives, implementation of strategy, supporting clients through corporate activity, ongoing monitoring and compliance.

Colin is also a member of the Investment Risk Settlement team. He works closely with clients that are approaching settlement projects. This includes long term planning for clients whose ultimate objective is buy-out, medium positioning of investment strategy as clients are approaching buy-in exercises and finally supporting clients as they transition to an insurer. Colin is also part of Aon’s team looking the emerging area of Consolidators and Capital Backed Solutions.

Colin's work has been recognised by the industry with him being named on the 40 under 40 Asset Management 2016 list compiled by Financial News. He is a regular speaker at conferences and events covering diverse topics from our latest investment ideas, how we interact with clients and longer-term objectives for pension schemes.
