Stewart leads Isio’s multidisciplinary London team providing services to trustees and employers on the financial and operational management of defined benefit and defined contribution pension arrangements.

Stewart is a qualified actuary with over 20 years’ experience, advising a wide range of FTSE100 and equivalent organisations to manage their pensions risk and navigate the regulatory regime. Stewart has advised sponsors on the financing of over £250 billion of private sector pension liabilities and the benefit design for over 200,000 employees. Stewart is part of the Isio team leading on DB Consolidators and new de-risking solutions, advising a number of trustees and sponsors considering these new options.

He is a regular speaker at industry events on a wide range of topics including, most recently, the emerging superfund market and its regulation. Stewart is Honorary Treasurer of the Association of Consulting Actuaries (ACA) helping to provide input to government and the Pensions Regulator on the UK legal and regulatory framework for pensions. Stewart is also chair of the ACA’s Climate Risk Group.
