A fixture of industry working groups, David Rich began to ceaselessly champion member interests 22 years ago. His position within Heywood as Head of Data Propositions uniquely positions him to share his awareness of data technology and the benefits that data can bring, and a key aspect of his role is to engage with the industry to improve scheme and member outcomes. His interests are twofold:

• To reduce scheme administration overheads and improve understanding
• To enhance member understanding and engagement

He is a member of the Pensions Scams industry forum, a large body of industry practitioners with a strong interest in combatting pension fraud.
