Kim has more than 30 years’ industry experience, and is a Fellow of the PMI and Pensions Advisory Service. She founded KGC, a well respected and successful independent governance consultancy, in 2002. Kim is also an Accredited Professional Trustee for Smart Pensions Master Trust where she is an advocate for developing investment strategies and leveraging technology to deliver better outcomes for pension savers. Kim took on the role of President of the Pensions Administration Standards Association in March 2025, having been Chair since 2019 and a founding Director since 2011.

Kim has engaged with government departments and regulatory bodies on a number of initiatives to help deliver a more robust pension system. She is PMI’s Principal Examiner for Professionalism & Governance, she is also a business graduate and holds a Diploma in Business Excellence. Apart from pensions, Kim’s other passion is her horses.
