Defined Benefit Summit 2024 - 'Turning the tide'
Wednesday 2 October | Rudding Park Hotel, Harrogate
Stability at higher levels of pension scheme funding is building demand in the de-risking market. Last year, the aim for many trustees and sponsors was to secure a buyout of a pension scheme's liabilities through an insurance company. However, some schemes remain undecided on their endgame plans.
The release of the Pensions Regulator's funding code is crucial to align with new funding and investment strategy regulations. The proposed schedule aims to present the DB funding code in parliament during the summer for implementation in the subsequent autumn.
The prospect of pensions dashboards becoming a reality is growing. All schemes with over 100 relevant members (active and deferred) should be prepared to connect to the dashboards between 30 April 2025 and 31 October 2026, depending on the scheme type and membership size.
So, with a schedule becoming busier by the minute, Professional Pensions invites you to join us for our Defined Benefit Summit: Turning the tide. This event has been designed to unite leading experts, pension scheme trustees and sponsors to challenge the most topical issues affecting the DB pensions industry.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in informative sessions, interactive discussions, and insightful Q&A. Network with industry peers, whilst exploring the latest products and services from exhibitors.
The Defined Benefit Summit is a must-attend event for anyone looking for first-class content and a second-to-none experience! Get your game plan ready for the rest of 2024 and beyond.
