Ann Rigby qualified as an actuary and has over 25 years' experience in the pensions industry having worked for a range of institutions including the Co-operative Group, Aon Hewitt and KPMG where she was a Principal.

Whilst at KPMG, Ann held over 20 scheme actuary appointments consulting with trustees of different sized schemes on funding issues, investment strategy, schemes closures, buy-outs, PPF assessment, risk management and general scheme governance. Ann's experience includes discussions with trustees on corporate transactions and measuring employer covenant together with dealings with the Pensions Regulator on funding matters.

Ann has frequently presented at trustee training seminars and has previously served on the committee of her local actuarial society based in the North of England.
