Crispin Freeman is a director in the Pensions team at independent UK law firm Burges Salmon. He advises trustees and employers in the private and public sectors on all aspects of the day-to-day running of pension schemes as well as transactional work and scheme documentation. Crispin has designed and led trustee and member representative training workshops including to the Institute of Directors. A former partner at a City law firm, Crispin took a 7 year career break to set up holiday rental business in Costa Rica, where he learned to kitesurf and paddleboard. He has 24 years’ pensions law experience, nine of which have been with Burges Salmon.
