Emma is the Head of Responsible Investment at the HSBC Bank (UK) Pension Scheme. She has been at the forefront of developments in stewardship, ESG, sustainable investment for 25 years. She has worked alongside asset owners for many years in a variety of roles within investment research and consultancy, asset management and now within a UK pension scheme. Emma spends much of her time implementing the Trustee’s net-zero commitment and climate strategy, as well as working through the Trustee’s stewardship programme and other ESG priorities which include biodiversity and nature, antimicrobial resistance and diversity, equity and inclusion.
