Jonathan is Deputy Director at IFS. He has expertise in a wide range of topics in UK public policy. Much of his work focuses on pensions, savings, economic activity at older ages, and the challenges caused by demographic change. He is a co-Principal Investigator of the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing and was from 2023-2025 co-Director of the IFS Pensions Review.
