Steven Nelson is a Client Portfolio Manager in the Fixed Income team. He joined Columbia Threadneedle Investments in 2026. His primary focus is investment grade credit and he is responsible for communicating the team’s investment strategy and portfolio positioning to institutional clients, consultants and distribution partners. Prior to joining Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Steven spent 15 years at Janus Henderson Investors, where he held both client portfolio manager and research analyst roles, covering multi-asset credit, secured loans and structured products. Steven received a BSc in Geography from the University of Leeds. He also holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Securities Institute Diploma - Fixed Income and Bonds.
