Sustainability

Professional Pensions Conference sustainability and cancellation/no-show policy:

Professional Pensions is committed to reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainability across our events. To help minimise food waste, resource consumption, and unnecessary emissions, we have implemented the following policy. Please note that this policy may apply to delegates who have registered for a complimentary place at an in-person event.

• Cancellation & No-Show Policy: To avoid unnecessary waste and resource use, we ask that delegates notify us in writing at least 10 days prior to the event if they are unable to attend. Failure to do so may result in a charge to cover associated costs.

• Sustainable Attendance: If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to nominate a colleague or representative to take your place, subject to approval by Professional Pensions. Please contact (marketer’s name & email) to discuss transferring your place.

• Event Sustainability Commitment: Professional Pensions is actively working to reduce the environmental impact of our
conferences. We prioritise digital materials over printed handouts, encourage the use of public transport or car-sharing where possible, and work with venues that follow sustainable practices, such as energy efficiency and responsible waste management.

By attending our events, delegates contribute to a more sustainable conference experience. Thank you for supporting our commitment to environmental responsibility.

TRACE by Isla

Professional Pensions uses TRACE to measure our carbon footprint at events, enabling us to make informed decisions that reduce emissions and support sustainability. TRACE helps assess and minimize carbon impact at live, hybrid, and digital events. Tracking emissions is key to fighting climate change and meeting sustainability standards, while also showcasing our commitment to environmental responsibility. TRACE, developed by Isla, is the leading platform for measuring carbon at events, driving the sector toward a net - zero future
