Harus Rai is the Managing Director of Capital Cranfield, one of the UKs largest independent professional pension trustee firms.

Harus has nearly 30 years' experience of working in the pension industry, the last 14 of which has been for professional pension trustee firms. He was previously the Head of Sole Trusteeship for Capital Cranfield and worked on the industry group which created the APPT’s code of practice on professional corporate sole trusteeship. Harus has also given evidence to the Parliamentary Committee on various topics including investigating liability driven investments and the 2022 gilt crisis; and the future of defined benefit pension schemes.
