Matt has over 16 years’ experience in pensions consulting, starting his career at Aon as a trustee adviser before moving to Aviva in 2018 to work as a deal manager within their bulk annuity team.

In his time at Aviva, Matt led a significant number of buy-in projects covering a range of the market, negotiating and structuring transactions on the insurer side of the fence.

Since re-joining Aon in 2024, Matt has advised on several transactions, including G4S' £1.8 billion full scheme buy-in with Just and Sanofi's recently announced £1.4 billion buy-in with Legal & General.
